Our story
Run by Peter: 33 Years Fixing Fridges and Washers
Quality Appliance Repairs is run by Peter, a qualified refrigeration technician who has spent 33 years repairing fridges and washing machines. Over that time he has seen almost every fault these two appliances can throw up, from a fridge that won’t hold temperature to a washer that won’t drain or spin.
That experience is why we stay focused. We don’t try to fix every appliance in the house. Fridges and washing machines are all we do, so the faults we see are the same ones we see every week, and we know where to look first.
Every job is done by our own team. When you call, you get someone who knows the work, not a call centre passing your job to whoever is free.

Refrigerant work
Repairing a leak or regassing a fridge often involves regulated refrigerant, and handling it without a Refrigerant Handling Licence from the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) is an offence. We hold this licence, so your fridge is in safe hands.
Electrical safety
After every repair we safety-test the appliance before we hand it back.
Insurance
We’re fully licensed and insured, with public liability cover on every job.
A tip from us: before anyone works on your fridge’s sealed system, ask for their ARC licence number. If they can’t give you one, they shouldn’t be doing the job.
